The Center for Disease Control conducted a study and found that 1 in 3 Americans do not get the recommended 7 hours of sleep each night. Hispanic community health study also highlights Sleep problems are associated with other health problems. Lack of sleep has become “the white elephant” and this is a subject that in general people don’t talk about it.  

Lack of sleep can affect your mental health, your well-being and happiness. I have suffered from Insomnia myself for many years. If you follow our sleep hygiene support program along with the instructions of your primary doctor, I assure you that you will learn how to manage the condition.

At bedtime, if you feel tense, anxious or have thoughts associated with problems such as health, work, friends and family issues, death, etc., this emotional arousal causes physiological arousal that will prevent your for falling sleep or stay sleep. As Jon Kabat-Zinn, the founder of Mindfulness-Based Street Reduction, put it “If you are having a lot of trouble sleeping, your body may be trying to tell you something about the way you are conducting your life.
